FUMY

First United Methodist Youth (FUMY) is a youth group for Junior High and High School students. FUMY meets every Wednesday night at 6:00 p.m. in the youth room.

Most nights of youth consists of games, time of prayer, praise and worship, a sermon, and small group discussions. We believe in equipping the next generation with the Gospel while growing closer as a group and walking together in faith.

We believe the middle and high school years are crucial for students and their relationship with God. FUMY is a place where students can come as they are, learn what it means to follow Jesus and ask the hard questions.

Leadership

We believe that the church isn’t only its pastors and leaders, but rather a body of members that uses its gifts and talents to better serve God and His people. That is why we encourage our youth to take an active part in our ministry. Members of our Leadership Team will contribute their gifts and talents to help minister to their peers. Through this team, we offer a place for students, with all of their gifts, talents, flaws, and struggles, to make an impact on their church, their friends, and their families.
